Every website has links here and there. I even have links scattered around the shop, but here you'll find a list of all my favourite websites, but not in any particular order. I have to say though, one of my favourite and most frequently visited sites I visit is orsm dot net just a totally kewl site, but not one for the kiddies.
In the photo above, my good friend and ice coach Graham Richardson took this photo of myself and other good friend, my 1st Bobsleigh driver, Rob Calleja at Konigssee in Germany in December of 2004. Graham not only is our ice coach, but can be anyone's coach as he offers to teach people how to drive as well as taking people in Taxi Bob. Ice Rush is the name, getting the thrill of your life is the game! Also a fantastic point of view video of the track in Austria is avaliable for your perousal. All the race photos on my website have been taken by my good friend Charlie Booker . Charlie is the official photographer for the FIBT, the international governing body of Bobsleigh and Skeleton. You can see much of Charlie's work on his website, www.bobsleigh.de I also have to make a mention of my website host, Host4Students.com in the US of A. So far I have found them to not only be unreal in service, but also price. How does this sound? US$25 per year for 300MB and 12GB traffic? Suits me perfect... Now I'm using MDWebhosting in South Yarra, Melbourne. I have now been with MDWebhosting sine 2005, and so far, I have found them to be an excellent host. I have just opened a new account, 12 months for 15GB @ $9.95/month. Not as cheap as Host4Students, but there is so much more on offer. Being an athlete and spending nothing short of bucket loads of $$$ on travelling, training fees, entry fees, registrations etc... we always look for a bargain on sporting goods. One of the places I buy my sprint shoes and any other great bargains, I usually check out the prices on EastBay Sports! Check out the bargain bins for some amazingly cheap shoes. Of course, I can't leave out a cause I strongly believe in, The International Sports Foundation works to break down the cultural barriers through sport. I have seen the positive impact that sports can have on various people. One of the most moving stories and photos I have seen is at the Bob Track in Austria. The Bosnians are on a mission to rebuild the Sarejavo track that was destroyed during the war. This was the site for the Sarejevo Winter Olympics. Unfortunately they don't have a lot of money, so the Croations stepped in and loaned them sled to train and compete with. Imagine that, Bosnians abd Croations working together to help each other out! After all the bloodshed caused by their governments, they finally have something to be really proud of. Even though this had nothing to do with the ISF, it's a great example of how sport can bring people together. Well that's my link page, maybe a little different to what you thought it may be, but these are certainly some of my many favourite sites. Peace Shane McKenzie Olympic 2 Man Bobsleigh Athlete
